Does anyone know when Maceys next case lot sale will be? I am getting low on a few things and I need to plan ahead in my budget for this.

The case lot sales are becoming more rare.  We will be lucky if we see one in the next couple of months but don't expect awesome deals - we haven't had those for quite some time.  I'll make sure to post as soon as I get the info.  Smiths seems to have one in September as well so keep your eyes open for that one too.

Today at maceys when I was checking out there was a sign taped on the register that said their caselot sale was coming soon (I THINK it said september- but I don't know for sure).

When I was at Macey's last week in Clearfield, the manager told me the case lot would start on 9/17/08.  Let's hope the deals are good!

Thanks for the info. I usually shop at the Pleasant Grove Maceys, but I bet they will have theirs at the same time. I will start saving my pennies as I'm sure things will be a little more than last year. I am still hoping for some great deals though.

I was at Macey's in Pleasant Grove yesterday.  I overheard someone asking about Macey's caselot sale, they were told that Macey's has a caselot sale twice a year and an emergency preparedness sale twice a year.  These two events are separate from each other.  Unfortunately, I do not know when the caselot sale will begin.

I haven't heard anything about a Case Lot sale at Macey's, but when I went to Smith's today the bottom of my receipt said that their Case Lot sale starts on Sept. 3rd. alien

I was just talking about the case lot sales to a friend (Smith's and Macey's).  She did not know that she could use coupons along with the case lot sale. (1 coupon for 1 item)  So if 1 case has 12 cans of something, you can use 12 coupons. Also we agreed that the case lot sales seems to fall around general confernce. Smiley

It isn't always true about using coupons on case lot sales.  It depends on the store - if they charge you a case price, then they will not use the coupon since the coupon is for an individual item and not a case.  All I can say is try, but do not be surprised if they won't do and be happy if they do.

This may be a stupid newbie question but when they have the case lot sale do you have to buy an entire case to get the sale price or can you get like half a case?

It depends on the store's policy.  Sometimes it is the same - buy 6 or 12, it is the same as a case price, but sometimes you will only get a case price if you purchase the entire case.  We'll post the deals to keep you in the know  Wink
