I just wanted to say don't miss the great article about Amy in the Daily Herald.  Congrats Amy!  I know you don't even know me, but I feel like you have helped me out so much through this program that you are like a friend I never met.  Thanks for all you do.

We have a set of those shelves (I store tools on them) and got it from Costco.  I like the wire bakers rack the best, since they have more shelves and wheels.  Most of our food storage is on the bakers racks.  I moved away from wood shelves since they can't be moved easily and it is hard to adjust the shelves up and down. I have looked at the food storage systems and have considered them, but the price was too steep for me.

They are from costco.  I love them because they hold a TON of weight and canned goods get pretty heavy.  I think they are called gorilla racks. I also put moving men feet (slider discs) under them, just in case they ever needed to be moved (But I don't think I would ever move them).

(Got a great deal on the Shelf Reliance Rotating system shelves to the left of the pic.  They are a little spendy, but worth it to me)  Smiley

Thanks for the kind words - I truly consider all of you my friends!  color

OMGoodness!!  I thought I had a pretty good stock pile, but that just puts mine to shame!  I love the $ figures on coupons each month.  Never thought about it like that - WOW!!

I just read that article, Amy, you are so awesome!  I have a question...
How many papers do you recommend a family of 4 getting?  Right now I get 2 and have felt like that's usually enough, but maybe it's not.

I used to get 15 in CA with just me and the hubby - but it's up to you and what fills your families needs.  However, in saying that, if you're going to the store to buy 2 things why not get 5 in the same shopping trip?  Cheesy

Pm'd you about the subscription  Wink

We have these racks too - they are fantastic.  They used to be called Gorilla Racks, but the company was bought out and they are under a new name.  Each shelf holds 1200 pounds I think (not that I'd ever have that much weight, but I believe that is what the box said - we bought 8 more sets in February).  You can get a set from Costco for just under $60 I think.  I love having a place to do my food storage now and hopefully one day it will look as great as Amy's and some of the other Savvy Shoppers out there.

Oh and I must have missed the sale on the individual applesauce....we love those so I'll have to watch the shopping lists closer.  We really need a Buy Low  or even a Winco up here in Layton!!!
