Title: Bee Stings and Sun Burn Aids Post by: prospering girl on November 29, 2006, 11:37:38 AM I have found that anti-perspirant relieves the swelling and pain from bee stings as well as sun burns. I now have one of my free ;) anti-perspirants in my large family emergency kit. My 7 year old nephew got stung multiple times this summer by bees at Bear Lake. My sister rubbed anti-perpirant on the stings and the swelling went down and the pain went away as well!
So if you don't have a bee sting kit handy(and you don't have anyone in your family that is allergic to bees that requires a hypdermic solution) try anti-persirant! (I've also heard that meat tenderizer will help with swelling and pain for a bee sting.) My daughter held her finger in some homemade rootbeer after she was stung by a hornet and it felt better quickly!

I was supposed to crush it and put enough water with it to make a paste. I'm a new member so I hope it's okay to post this here. Title: Re: Bee Stings and Sun Burn Aids Post by: SavvyShopper on December 03, 2006, 10:55:46 PM Thanks for the tip!
