Title: Macey's 800 N Orem Special
Post by: lisamiut on June 20, 2007, 12:16:12 PM
Powdered Honey is on sale for 9.99 at the 800 N. Orem Maceys until Saturday the 23rd.  One of my survivalist friends said this is an EXCELLENT price for this - and because it is powdered, it won't crystalize!

I have never even heard of powdered Honey!!!  Do you know what the shelf life is?  Is it longer then normal honey?  Do you just reconstitute it with water and use it like normal, or is it only for baking?  TIA!!!

Powdered Honey can be used as a sweetener and sugar substitue in a recipe.  You can rehydrate to make it real honey.  Shelf life would be minimum 5 years - but could be longer if stored in a cool, dry environment.

What size is the container? Is it in a #10 tin can, or smaller? does anyone know?
