Title: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: stea on May 19, 2008, 09:19:56 PM I am in need of more baseball card holder. I have always gotten them at Walmart, but they have quit carrying them, at least in AF. Where can I get some inexpensive ones?
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: ktanne2639 on May 19, 2008, 10:57:34 PM The AF Wal-Mart does still carry them. At least, they did when I bought them a couple days ago. They are in a really weird place between check stands. I can't remember the exact number but it is on the west side of the tobacco check stand. They are tucked in between various card games and souvenirs. HTH!
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: MomTo4Girls on May 19, 2008, 11:26:59 PM I recently saw a large package at Sears but I can't remember how much they were...they were up front on the other side of the first register...
Does anyone know if Roberts or Michaels carries them? I could use a few more but I don't want to buy a big package like what I saw at Sears. Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: Pirahna on May 20, 2008, 08:43:24 AM I saw them not too long ago (maybe a couple of weeks ago) at the Wal-Mart in Springville. HTH
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: stayathomemomtoallgirls on May 20, 2008, 09:39:18 AM I found them in the Payson Walmart by all of the cards: Hannah Montana, Baseball, Yugi-Yo, and others. These were located up by the cash registers. They were around $2-3 for a package of 10.
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: fresh on May 20, 2008, 09:40:04 AM They have them at roberts in the scrapbooking section. Both times i went for them they were 40% off, maybe you'd get lucky too!
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: stea on May 20, 2008, 12:27:22 PM Roberts always has coupons out for 40-50% off. Maybe I will have to try that - if I remember. I never seem to be able to get enough. I get what I think is way too many, and then end up needing more before too long. I almost need a bigger binder!
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: $aving$ on May 20, 2008, 01:50:47 PM I had the same trouble. I looked at Walmart in Payson and Springville and Staples in Provo. Had I read this posting earlier I think I would have found them near the cards in Walmart. Staples in Provo has been out of them for over a week.
I found some at Office Depot in AF for $2.49 for a pack of 10.(Probably not a WOW price but I was getting desperate) Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: stea on May 20, 2008, 03:40:07 PM I wish they still had them at my Walmart (AF). When I asked about them I was told they were not carrying them anymore. :-\
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: Christi on May 20, 2008, 05:42:06 PM I was just at AF Walmart and they were at the checkstand underneath baseball cards as stated in an earlier post.
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: stea on May 20, 2008, 06:20:11 PM GRRRRR!! >:( When I was there earlier this week, they said they weren't carrying them anymore. I even checked by all the trading cards. Thanks!
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: Karley on May 20, 2008, 07:25:15 PM try the tobacco / souvenier checkout isle - thats usually the sneaky place they hide them :)
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: Leah P. on May 20, 2008, 09:03:45 PM I was at the AF Target tonight and they had some in their baseball card section. You get 30 for 5 bucks.
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: MomOf4 on May 21, 2008, 09:22:55 AM I just got some at AF Walmart yesterday. They are on the bottom shelf, by the trading (Pokeman, etc.)cards, in the front of the store, middle isle. There was an entire box full. You get 35 pages for $5.77. However, I am striking out on finding a binder with a strap. I've looked at Big Lots, Walmart, Target, Shopko and Office Depot. Anyone seen them anywhere? TIA!
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: SavvyShopper on May 21, 2008, 09:26:06 AM Staples usually has them. :)
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: Minnie Mouse on May 21, 2008, 12:48:46 PM I have had a problem finding them at Walmart and have bought most of mine at Shopko in Orem. I have to say that I priced the ones at Walmart today and Shopko had a better price!! Shopko's price is 4.99 and Walmart was 5.40 or something like that. At Shopko they are with the trading cards, usually up by the registers on a separate stand.

I hate to say it, but you may not have much luck until school starts. I need a new one as well, I have about out grown mine, but haven't found any with a zipper ad strap. I think I am going to wait until they are on a good sale with school supplies. Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: mommab on May 21, 2008, 02:03:47 PM I'm with Amy..I found mine at Staples last fall for $2.50 in the clearance bin. It was after the school sales had stopped, so you may not find them now, but they did have them in the regular binders too. Good Luck!
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: stacey7 on May 22, 2008, 08:14:57 AM I have found mine at Walmart with the sheet protectors. At least thats where they were at the Springville Walmart. They are $1.44 for 10 I think. You just have to look closely they are hard to spot. I read the tags to find their spot and there were some other types of ones on top of them so I looked under a few and found them.
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: Rianacj on May 22, 2008, 04:25:10 PM About 3 weeks ago they had them in a cart at Payson WalMart. They were clearanced out at .25 a 10 pack. Maybe they don't want to carry them anymore?????
I bought 16--to help my friends get started on their binders. I now wish I had bought much more. Now we can't even find the bbcard holders at that location. Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: hollyhock on May 22, 2008, 04:41:25 PM I got my baseball card holders at Office Max in AF and they even price matched the Wal-Mart 1.44 price. I also found my zipper binder with a strap there in Feb. for $4-5 as it was a school clearance item. I had a hard time finding the case-it binder in stores but they're on line. Try http://www.caseit.com/caseit/eprodlist.asp?S=125&P=7914&PubID=4459&V=25&D=233 or ebay. HTH
Title: Re: Baseball Card Holders??? Post by: rikkiroo on May 23, 2008, 06:03:17 PM You could look at yard sales...throw out the baseball cards and keep the holders! :) Also, I got a zippered binder at DI, no shoulder strap, but it works for me...they might have baseball card holders there, too.
