One of my favorite kid friendly dinner ideas is pasta. I just kind of make it up as I go.
Boil whatever kind of pasta you have on hand. (I like Penne).
Saute some onions and lots of garlic. (I LOVE garlic!).
Add chopped tomatoes and cook a little. (I like to use grape tomatoes cut in half).
Then just before it is done I add fresh spinach and cook until it wilts.
I normally melt butter on the pasta but you could just use olive oil. Then mix everything together. Season with a little salt, pepper, basil, and/or italion seasoning. YUMMY!!!
Grill some chicken and you have a wonderful kid friendly meal!
