I order 5 Sunday newspapers.  Sunday I received 6 Sunday papers with 8 (yes, Cool Vlassis coupon inserts, but no SmartSource.  It wasn't until yesterday that I noticed I didn't receive the SmartSource when I looked on the Shopping Wizard and noticed coupons listed for this week with an "S" in front of it (indicating SmartSource).  I'm not upset, the Daily Herald was very nice and sent me the coupons today, was just curious if this has happened to anyone else!  (I haven't had many consistant weeks with the paper, something seems to be missing, or I get more coupon inserts than I should)

Similar with me! But thanks for the heads up! i didn't know there were smartsource ones! i get 5 papers, but i had two valassis inserts in one paper...I just called the paper to get the smart source ones. Thanks!

I think the carriers insert the coupons so I've often noticed differences in mine (usually minor) Like this week in one paper I got 2 V  ;)and 1 S and the rest had 1 of each V and S.  So chaulk it up to human or machine error. But like you said I'm sure The Daily Herald will always fix the situation if you give um a call. Smiley

There is a machine that puts in the inserts. (Ads and coupons) Sometimes the machine picks up more or less than is should. The Daily Herald is great about getting the missing inserts to you quickly.  You just have to call.

I have been getting multiple Sunday papers from the Daily Herald for over a year now.  Most of the time The Daily Herald gets my inserts just right.  But every once in a while I will be missing a few inserts or I get an extra one or two. 

If you are ever missing inserts JUST CALL!!!  They are so good about getting the inserts out!   If I call before 9am I have had someone run my inserts out to my house Sunday morning!  (Talk about excellent customer service!)  Or at the lastest they come Monday morning bundled up with my newspaper. Smiley

There was a problem with the Smart Source insertion (especially South County) on Sunday!  Make sure you got both a Smart Source and Valassis!  Call 375-5103 if you missed your coupons!
