I frequently see coupons from multiple sources for the same product (Sunday circular, web site, store coupons).  Often, the coupon has wording similar to "No other coupon may be used with this coupon."

How do you know when multiple coupons can be used for a single purchase?

the phrase you're asking about is referring to using 2 of the same coupons on 1 product which you cannot do. (correct me anyone if i'm wrong). there is only one exception to this rule though - and that is combining a manufacters coupon with a store coupon.

for example - for this current gm sale going on, i can use 5 manufacturer coupons from a sunday insert that are for betty crocker fruit snacks and 5 printable coupons for the same item to purchase 10 boxes of fruit snacks total.

hope that helps!

Most printable coupons are Manufacturer's coupons.

If you look at the top of your coupons, normally on the upper left side it will say on the coupon weather it is a store coupon or a manufacturer's coupon.

You can use one manufacturer's coupon for each item you purchase.  So for example, if you purchase 5 boxes of fruit snacks you can use 5 manufacturer's coupons with it.

Sometimes (although it is more rare) you can also find a store coupon for the same box (example) of fruit snacks.  In that case, you can use 5 store coupon and 5 manufacturer's coupons for 5 boxes of fruit snacks.

I hope this helps!   Smiley

It sounds like she is saying that she used 5 coupons from the newspaper and 5 printables to purchase 10fruit snacks.

So, she used 10 coupons to buy 10 boxes, if I understood her right.

Walgreens is a store that has store coupons in their ad every week. So you can use one of those and a manf. coupon to purchase one item.
