I just signed up for the Daily Herald and they are trying to promote the local Thursday papers.  I subscribed for Sunday only and with the local Thursday paper I am paying just $4 every OTHER month!!!  Sure beats $8.42 every month.  I don't know how long it is going on, but that is less than .50 a Sunday paper!!  They will only let you have one copy at that awesome rate.  Wink

-Unfortunately this offer has expired and is no longer being offered.  It actually expired a couple months ago - you lucked out!!!  Smiley - Amy
