I finally found a way to keep track of my shopping list and coupons when I am in the store.  I always try to pull my coupons and put them in a plastic page in the front of my binder before I go shopping. I make a very specific list before I leave the house, but once I get to the store I keep setting my list in different places and I don't know what to do with the coupons for the things I am going to purchase. Even though I have the coupons pulled, I try to pull them out of the page and put them in my pocket or somewhere so they are ready when I get to the checkout.  I have seven children, three of which are preschoolers, so grocery shopping can get a little crazy and I often find myself forgetting to use a coupon, or dropping them on the floor, etc... Undecided

I now use one of those large paper clip, the black ones with the silver things on the sides, to clip my list to the front of my binder where I can easily see it and as I go through the store and put things in my cart I grab the coupons that go with them and clip them on the front as well.  It has worked great!  Such a simple thing (a paperclip), but it has helped me a lot! Cheesy

I do something similar, I make my list on a 3x5 card and put a paperclip on the side of it (one card for each store), and I pull the coupons I expect to use while I am making my list. While shopping, as I find the products I want, I put the coupons for each product into the paperclip (on the back side of the card).  I keep the rest of the coupons I don't use together to file back into my binder when I get home.  I still take my binder, but I put it in the cart.  I've found it's a lot easier to hold onto just a card while I'm shopping!  Much less for the kiddies to grab and attack.  Wink

I also try to write the expected total $$ for each item next to each item on the list as well as what I expect the final total to be.  Doing this has saved me a trip to customer service on many occasions!
