I've gone to two different Smith's locations looking for their cases of honey and they're always out!  Any suggestions?  And is it a good enough deal to go to great lengths to get?  TIA

Honey has been so expensive for so long that it is a good price.  We do have coupons right now for $1.00/1 on SueBee Honey and Aunt Sues  (V3/16).  It should be @ $1.00 or less for 10-12 oz. soon, but you never know, and you can't get as much as you can right now in cases. HTH

just thought I would let anyone still looking for case lot know that the smoths in saratoga springs still had pretty much everything left - sorry I didn't double check on the honey - they were even substituing swanson brand for the broth and peter pan brand  for the peanut butter because they had been out of the other kind listed in the sale - I thought it was really nice of them Smiley

Has anyone bought a case of chili at the Saratoga Springs Smiths WITH coupons?
I went today and the cashier said I couldn't use them. I said I can because the $2 coupon is your store coupon and these are manufacturer coupons. She went to scan them just to show me that it beeps and said, "see, it won't take them". I said have you talked to a manager about it? She said yes and they've had this problem the whole time. I was in a hurry and so I didn't argue. I didn't have time to stop at the  customer service (had to hurry to the school to register my duaghter for summer Clear Creek Smiley ). When I got home I called and asked to speak to the manager (Ryan Peacock) and he explained why it beeps (because when they put it into the register it goes under a different code for the whole case and when the coupons are scanned it doesn't recognize the items) BUT he also said she should still have been able to put them through (I guess this is what people call "pushing them through).  I already knew this but I also knew the cashiers can override the "beep" which is what frusterated me! And this was an experienced cashier. The manager apologized and said he was going out to talk to the cashiers right now....He sounded like they should ALL know what to do.

Anyway, if any of you have had this problem you can take your coupons and your receipt to customer service to redeem them! IF they give you a problem ask to talk to Steve Peacock!

Also, before I went I did call customer service to see if they had in stock what I needed. The lady I spoke with is my husband's ex-aunt (if there is such a thing) and she said they will extend the sale for this next week to get rid of what they have left. She also said the Saratoga Springs store gets more than most Utah County stores so you might want to call them if you can't find something you want...
