I was reading an article today about a woman who spent very little when using rebates, such as the ones from Coors and Bud Light. Does anyone know where to get them? Do they come out regularly and do people just rip the whole stack from the shelf and take them all? I never seem to find them, same thing with peelies- they are always taken off the items. Okay- Don't mean to grip, I just am interested in finding out more about the rebates. Thanks-

In the Lehi area, Albertson's tends to have the Beer rebates most often, but Smith's will occasionally have some- just walk down the beer aisle and look up on the refrigerator cases, generally.  The ones I've gotten in the past few months have been "Get $10 back by rebate when you purchse at least $10 in salty snacks and pizza,"  "Get $10 back by rebate when you spend at least $10 on Steak or Seafood," "Get up to $15 back by rebate when your check-out purchase is $50 or more ($5/$50 or more receipt-limit 3),"  and "Get $10 back by rebate when you spend at least $100 and purchase a fresh pork item."  I'll take a few extra rebates for my neighbors (who do likewise for me), but never the whole stack- that's just not nice.  With peelies, I only take them if I am going to use them for that package.

I shop all the time in the Orem & Pleasant Grove area and RARELY see these rebates.  I don't know if they are being taken or they don't post them.  I always consider myself VERY lucky to find them.

I have seen them at the Orem locations, but not often. I often trade to get mine. I have saved a lot of money using rebates!

At Payson Smith's they just have the tear pads sitting on top of the cartons of beer in the aisle. They are limit one per customer per rebate, so it isn't any good to take a whole pad. (even though some people probably still do and try to sell on EBay  Undecided)  I also find them in Spanish Fork Albertson's sitting on top of the cartons of beer at the back of the aisle.  There are usually a couple of tear pads of each one.  I always feel a bit weird looking for them, as I am not a beer drinker, but they are great rebates.  Wink Cheesy Wink Cheesy  So always look in the beer aisle!   Cheesy I have also seen Heineken rebates at the deli in both stores.  HTH!

I think the other reason I rarely see these is I don't have a huge need to travel down the beer aisle - LOL.  It is great to find rebates and coupons as a bonus when shopping.  If you do see them, please take 1 and let others know where they are so we can all save a little more.  I love the sharing on this site!

They also have them in the back of the stores or wherever they have beer displays back by the meat. They're not always by the refrigerated beer. I've also seen the ones that require you to buy deli items, in the deli. You never know where you're going to find them! I never walk past a display or tear pad without looking at it.  toothy9

I've heard that the stores in Salt Lake County get these rebates more than Utah County...or maybe it's just because there are more stores? And I don't see a problem taking a couple extra for family or friends that you know do rebates, but please leave some for the rest of us.

If you find any lets start posting at which store, LOCATION, and location WITHIN the store (they could be ANYWHERE Smiley).
