Check out www.valuesparenting.com  They have a home based preschool, Joy School, that also teaches values and confidence.  I did Joy School when I was a kid, and just started it up yesterday with my daughter.  It is a great program. 

It does cost a little bit, but it is well worth it.  There is a $50 lifetime membership on the website and $70 per semester tuition.  The tuition is per family, not individual, and a one time fee. (YOU have rights to do that semester with the rest of your own kids) 

They have done all the work for you, and give you detailed lesson plans for each day.  When you compare that price to local preschools, it is a great deal. And if you get enough mom's involved, you only have to teach every couple months too--giving plenty of opportunities for your child to be influenced by other adults.

I too, live in the Orem area and my advice is to check with your local high school to see if they run a preschool program with their Child Development class.  One of our high schools here (Mountain View) has a program where the kids in the child development class actually teach and run a real preschool.  It is all under a teachers supervison, of course, but the high school kids actually prepare and do the lessons, they take the kids on field trips and have a Christmas and Spring program, as well as a very cute Graduation.  The best part in my opinion is that each of the pre-schoolers is paired with one high school kid as a buddy - they have one on one time with each activity.  They do number and letter recognition, writing, reading, music, basically everything that would be done in a home or business type preschool.  Because it is run through the high school, the cost is minimal - I think around $200 for October through May.  The cost basically covers supplies for the class and field trip expenses. I didn't know about it until I had my 2nd child and he attended as well as my daughter after him.  I really felt like they were very prepared for Kindergarten and I have my youngest on a waiting list for when she is ready to go.  So, after babbling for an entire paragraph, I'd say call the high school in your area and see if they run any type of program like this one.  I can't say enough great things about ours, and we too are on a tight budget (isn't everyone these days) and the price can't be beat!  Good Luck!
