I'm debating whether to go to the Taste of Home cooking school.  I already know how to cook pretty well.  I'm just wondering if it is worth the $15 to go.  Has anyone else gone?  How is it?  Do they give away free stuff?

They give away a ton of stuff - the meals they make on the stage and the pretty dishes as well.  They are not going to teach you a lot of new things, but new recipes are always fun to have.  It is very entertaining.

you get a couple of free taste of home magazines, and they give away the food  / dishes too... besides all of the other stuff - not everyone wins so its risky if you want to know if its worth it in a money type way, but it sure is a fun girls night out Smiley
