E.L.F make up has been purchased by another company. They are selling all of their current stuff really cheap (mostly $1). Go to
www.eyeslipsface.com
to order. The shipping fee is $6.95, but if you put in coupon code "carolina", they will take $7 off any order of $15 or less. They have some really nice stuff!

This is a scam. Funny thing is, I totally fell for it two weeks ago! E.L.F. is a makeup brand but of low quality and is (from what I have read) similar to wet n wild type products. So it's still makeup and it's cheep but I wouldn't want to risk breaking out. As far as I know, you won't lose your identity or anything drastic like that. But it's just not good quality makeup. I got a bunch of stuff and should be recieving it anyday. I got some stuff that you can still use, like lip gloss, eyelash curler, nail polish. But I am going to be a bit more hesitant towards the bronzer I just got. I felt so bad when I told my friends about it and they had already purchased some stuff. Dang... Oh well I guess next time I will remember, if it sounds too good to be true it's too good to be true. You live you learn right?

I got some great deals about a year ago too! Same deal though! I do have to say that I'm not terribly impressed with the make up, but the kits that I got made great gifts and their slanted tweezers, are the BEST!

I have gotten several items from them over the past couple of years and have had no reactions and I have sensitive skin. It has also been handy for my teen daughters to try out colors cheap before they spend a lot on Mary Kay or something like that.

I bought some of their stuff about a year ago, too...but it is NOT good quality; the mascara dries out after 4-5 uses, the colors are off from what is pictured and don't blend well...the brushes are OK, (read: better than drugstore quality), and the blush seemed OK...I think Kmart carries ELF brand, and I've seen sets at Burlington Coat Factory, where they break down to about $1 per item, so if you wanted to try, you'd at least save shipping costs. I think with discounts my order was about .75/ea, and I still felt ripped off.

My SIL told me about this over a year ago, with the claim that they were a Nordstrom make-up and the absolute best quality. While I like the colors we got, they do not apply well. The quality is very poor for most applications. And although they said everything was in stock each time I tried to order, I still would not receive parts of my order because they were "out of stock." Then my order would be adjusted (because they did not have the item) so that I did not receive the 'deal' they were offering for what I had ordered.
I agree that this is a scam. The e-mail or info some how keeps getting around that this is a deal, when you can find it for the $1 price at Kmart last I looked.

I purchased the e.l.f. makeup last year and I think I ended up paying like .50 cents for each item which seemed to be a great deal to me. But when it arrived the colors were a bit different than those pictured and the lip products did not stay on my lips for more than 5 minutes. Complete waste of money for the lip stuff. Also they have this lip gloss stuff that is a two in one type of thing, with one side being the color and the other side being a clear coating that you apply first. Just a warning - the clear side actually stings my lips everytime I apply it. I wondered if it was just my skin and tried it out on my daughter. Same thing. She innocently asked "does makeup always hurt when you put it on?" (She's 6).
