Does anyone know if/when canned pumpkin will go on sale? I havent seen any this year.

I'm watching for them but haven't seen any. Last week's front page picture with the huge piece of pumpkin pie really fooled me. ahhh.

Macey's has it until Tuesday for 1.38 and Rite Aid had it in their add today for .99, those are both great deals.

Are there different price points for different brands? Because personally I prefer Libby's pumpkin over Western Family or other generic brands. The Libby's was what was on sale in Macey's this week.

I would rank Libby as $1.25 29 oz = WOW for brand, so the $1.38 at Maceys would be GREAT

However, WF goes on sale every year for $0.98 for 29 oz and I think it tastes great.

The one at riteaid is Libby's for 15oz. I bought three and got rain checks for 3 more. Smiley

Ya I can't believe it's not $.99 yet for the 29 oz cans.  It seems like it is every year.  I got my ads today for tomorrow's sales and there still isn't anything.  I think somewhere had the WF kind for like $1.29 of something?  I'll have to check again.  Maybe Wal Mart will surprise us or something

I did hear of a pumpkin shortage so maybe that is why they are not as cheap as they usually are. Angry

Walgreens were completely out & had a sign up that due to the shortage they didn't know when they would be getting more.
