I'm curious, has anyone ever done the RV/Trailer/Campground route?  You'd probably only pay around $45 or less a night and have a full kitchen for all your meals.  True, you might spend more for gas to get out there, but a full kitchen might be worth it.  (I've never done this, and am just wondering if anyone has.)
