There's no telling what kind of characters a kid will find by joining The Old Spaghetti Factory Rewards of Reading Program. Pirates or pilots, dinosaurs or detectives, animals or astronauts. They're all waiting to take you on the adventure of a lifetime in reading. The Old Spaghetti Factory is making reading even more fun by rewarding good readers. Every child who reads five books will win a FREE KID'S MEAL from the Old Spaghetti Factory. Title: Re: GOOD GRADES/READING REWARDS Post by: stea on June 11, 2007, 07:11:05 AM Do they do anything for M's (Mastery)? My kids are in elementry and are given M (mastery), P (partial mastery) and N (needs improvement).
Title: Re: GOOD GRADES/READING REWARDS Post by: SavvyShopper on June 11, 2007, 08:35:56 AM Yes! It works for E (Excellent) and I'm sure M (Mastery) etc...
Title: Re: GOOD GRADES/READING REWARDS Post by: MomTo4Girls on March 28, 2008, 01:26:04 PM Are there anymore out there? My kids wanted us to pay them for their good grades (they both got all A's) but I don't want to start that yet. They're only 9 and 11. I'd rather take them to get a free treat or something...
Have any of you done any of these recently? Thanks! (my girls thank you, too :) ) Title: Re: GOOD GRADES/READING REWARDS Post by: SavvyShopper on May 09, 2008, 10:14:26 AM Barnes & Noble has started their FREE BOOK for Summer Reading program again. We do this with our daughter each year and she loves it!
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/summerreading/index.asp?r=1&afsrc=1&r=1 Here's How It Works: 1. Kids read any 8 books. 2. Kids use the Summer Reading Journal to tell us their favorite part of each book. A parent/guardian signs it when it's complete. 3. Children bring their completed journal to a Barnes & Noble store between May 29th & September 2nd, 2008. 4. We'll give them a coupon for a FREE book! They choose from a list of exceptional paperback titles.* * Eligible books will be listed on the coupon. Choices must be made from eligible stock. No special orders. Limit of 1 form per school-age child (grades 1-6), please. Incomplete forms will be ineligible for free books. * UCCU (Utah Community Credit Union) will pay your student $1 for each "A" on their year-end report card (they deposit it into their account - not cash in hand). Title: Re: GOOD GRADES/READING REWARDS Post by: SavvyShopper on June 12, 2008, 09:00:32 AM Mcdonalds has a Governer's Summer reading incentive right now.
