Title: Dollar General
Post by: tinarae on November 03, 2009, 04:42:48 PM
I have never shopped at Dollar General before, but I noticed in their ad that Imperial Margarine is 2/$1.  I haven't seen it this low in forever, but I can't remember if it goes lower (like $.44?).  Does anyone else remember what a WOW price is for Imperial, and does anyone have any experience shopping at this store (well stocked, etc.)?  Thanks, all you savvy shoppers!

I also want to know if they take coupons? They seem to have a few good deals in their ads this week.

It says on their ad (back cover bottom) that they accept manufacturers' coupons and EBT (what is that?).

I believe EBT is Electronic Banking Transactions.

EBT is Utah's food stamp system.

Yes  :)

Only once in the last 2 years has it gone on sale for that price.  The next cheapest was $0.65 ea.

I saw Imperial today at wal-mart for 65cents.  I also saw Kraft stove top stuffing for .78 cents and was wondering if this is a wow deal?  They had tons of it for the new $20 for 10 people thanksgiving dinner promo that wal-mart is doing.  OH and they had coupon booklets in the back of the springville walmart, by the hot dogs area, that had $40 in coupons in them, like ritz crackers and things like that. There were tons of booklets on a big display.

Thanks! I will get more next time I'm in, since they had lots of flavors, like cranberry stuffing.
