I was just at Albertsons in Layton to do my shopping and did not get a $10.00 Catalina. I had plenty of the products for over $40.00 and they said "If nothing prints out we don't have to do anything about it."

Please let me know if there is a # I can call. One cashier told me its because the chef boyardee and hunts items are not on the deal. Any advice would be helpful.

They said they don't have to do anything about it?  Was this a manager or just a cashier? I believe that would be false advertising if they didn't give it to you.
One time my sister and I were checking out with the same items and were suppose to get a catalina (register rewards). She went to a different cashier than I did. She got her catalina and I did not. We went to the cashier that checked her out because I believe he was a manager and he refunded me my money and rang my items up again. It printed out my catalina. I think sometimes the machines are out of paper, ink...whatever. I wouldn't have left the store without my $10!

They should have had a code to make it work for you or customer service should have fixed it(unless it is while supplies or quantities last).  If it were me I would take my receipt back in and speak with the manager.  Undecided

I had a catalina machine that didn't work once as well, and the cashier just found me another coupon and made note that they would be missing one.  I think he was the front end manager, so he was on top of it.

I agree with the manager things - mine haven't printed before and once they checked my receipts to make sure tat I had indeed bought the correct items - the managers have always been more than helpful to write one in or re ring the items to make one print

Just to let everyone know, I did go back. The customer service gal asked two others then took my receipt to the manager in the back. He approved the $10 back and gave me cash and a free loaf of french bread for my trouble. I then used all my raincheck for Scott tissue, chewy granola bars and Instant oatmeal. I bought 35 items and paid 11.50, using my $10.00 back I only had to pay$1.50. It felt so great.
Thank you for creating this site and helping me save.
