Me and my sister went to the AF Walmart Monday to get a few things on a Price Match from Rite Aid.  They let us do the Price Match but they wouldn't let us use our coupons because they said "It will be too complicated".
They let us do a price match for RiteAid but not the coupons which doesn't make any sense since they would get their money back from the manufacturer.
Weird so we called the Lindon Manager and he said that they would do it and he said it was weird that AF said that to us.  Anyways just wondering if anyone else had that problem?

Oh yeah the Lysol sale at Walgreens B1G1F, I found that at the Payson Walmart and probably most Walmarts has pretty much all the Lysol products for $1.75 which would be the same price with Walgreens on a couple things but the ones that are 2/$3.99 etc. would be cheaper at the Payson Walmart,  if your around that area. Since all Walmarts in different cities have different prices, AF I know is more because we compared.  Then with the $1.00 off coupons in this weeks add you would pay only $0.75

Also the toilet bowel cleaner at walgreens is a 16oz bottle for 2/$3.49 and at all the Walmarts I have been to (AF,Lindon,Springville,Payson) They have a 24oz bottle for the $1.75 so you get a bigger bottle for cheaper.

From what I have been told, it is a new Walmart policy to not accept coupons on price matched items (I have not seen it in a written policy though).  Also, it is against Walmart policy to price match anything from any store that is a buy one get one free, any percent off, any sale that you have to have a store coupon or rebate to get the sale price, or anything that is on a sale where you have to buy a certain number of items and then get an extra discount (ie. buy 10 items at $1.00 ea, get an additional $2 off - making the item .80 ea.  They WILL match the $1.00 price, but not the .80 price.)

It wasn't any B1G1F Items. It was the RiteAid $.97 stuff.

That is weird though to do a price match but not the coupon because they get the money for the coupon

I was letting you know that the B1G1f at walgreens is a good deal but the regular price at Walmart is Even Cheaper. Especially the Payson Walmart since all Walmarts have different prices on things.

Thanks Anyways

Walmart has had issues for a long time with cashiers and coupons.  They don't always get full training on using the coupons - if you had gone to a different lane, you may have had no troubles.  Better luck next time!

I have always had luck using my coupons on trial sizes that were .01 - .03 less than the coupon amount and the cashier would adjust the coupon to the amount of the item.  I was informed today that they will no longer take any coupon for any amount over the price of the item.  The cashier said that they are having monthly training meetings and doing a lot of coupon training.

I found trial sized kids Colgate for .50 and with the .50/1 coupon they are free!
