Anyone heard of one going on now or coming up? Specifically I am out of canned pinto and black beans and need more for my food storage. I bought my last ones last Fall for 39 cents a can at Macey's, and I can't bring myself to pay so much for them now.

I would call the store and see if the manager knows when the next sale will be. Good luck.

Thanks. I saw the case lot sale at Smith's (bought a case of pears and a few cases of tomato sauce) but I didn't see any beans. Hopefully I'll get some soon.

Maceys usually has a case lot in the summer months - I think many stores may be considering a case lot sale again as the prices of groceries are well on the rise.  We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.

FYI: I approached a manager at a grocery store last week and told her I was interested in buying some items in case, as I needed a lot.  She told me she would give me a discount on cases because that means less work for them unboxing and shelving them.  You might consider talking to your local manager about that.  It can't hurt.

Ooh, I read about that one too late. I think I will contact a store about case prices.
