I have never tried to have Walmart price match my items before.  I am thinking of trying it today.  But before I do I would like to get some much needed advice so I don't cause problems and keep the transaction as smooth as possible.  For example, do I need to take the other store adds with me to prove the price of the items?  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Yes, you need to take the ad with you and Walmart has to have the exact same item.

I also heard that once they price match they won't accept the coupon.  Is that true?  And do they price match the deals such as the Albertsons buy 10 take $5 off such and such.

They will not match the Albertson's deals where you get $5.00 off when you buy $15.00.  They should still take the coupon after they price match, but it can depend on the cashier.  I try to avoid price matching at Walmart... it seems it would be the easiest way to shop, but believe me it isn't!  If I only need one or two things, I will price match.  Otherwise it is easier to just shop at the stores where the deals are.  Good luck!

Even though others have said it already, I will add my 2 cents and kinda sum it up for you.  You should always take your ads with you.  There are some cashiers that will have you prove the price to them.  You can only price match the EXACT same item, size, brand etc.  A lot of times they don't carry the same items.  They will NOT honor any in-store promo such as buy one get one free, % off, instant rebates (like buy 10 items, get $5 off) etc.  You are better off just shopping the store that has the sale in the first place it you are able to.  If you are planning on price matching produce, it helps to be good at math and ALWAYS take a calculator with you.  I have found that a lot of times one store will have a price per pound and Walmart has price per each (and vice versa).  They should take your coupons even on price matched items, but some cashiers refuse to.  I have never had a problem.

At the Lindon Walmart, they wouldn't price match my ad for oranges that were priced per pound, because they were selling them at a per each price. YMMV

I have never had a problem.  I always have my calculator (phone) out and ready and figure it up for them.  None of the cashiers that I have come across seem to know what to do so a little help has always worked.
