This would be so yummy - and so bad for my diet!  I haven't seen anything about it yet officially - keep your eyes open to news sources!

I know someone who knows someone who works for them in Vegas.  He found out that they have no plans to go more than 2 hours north of St. George because they then would have to freeze their meat.

From what I have heard there is In & Out Burger, Costa Vida and more going in that area.  There are already buildings going up.  I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens, but I a willing to bet that they will be there. Wink

My source is pretty reliable. It is coming next to the Harts in AF across from Target. They are working out the details right now. Also, Kneaders, Jamba Juice (by Tmobile store), Texas Roadhouse (next to Firehouse Car Wash)  and more are coming. It is about time we got some new places over there.

What will happen to the Chadder's over there? They are just like In N Out. I also noticed a Olive Garden going in.

Did you say Texas Roadhouse???!!!  wav  We've been to the one in St. George and it was so good! I was just thinking the other day that we need some more places to eat around here!

Also, are the In and Out Burgers better than Chadders? I love their fries but I don't see what the big deal is with the hamburgers. Small and they don't seem to have much flavor....IMO...I like flame broiled.

Here's the story... Apparently they are bringing an In and Out for competition. There is another store here in Orem (the name has slipped my mind) and the owners were brothers. They both owned In and Out, but something happened and now they hate each other. So they went their separate ways and In and Out took off, and this other store is the exact same thing just a different name and not as successful. And no it is not Chadders. My brother heard this story at some business seminar. Just thought it was interesting. I personally would rather support the little guy.

Didn't you all hear about the law suit. It was on the news when Chadders first oppened. The people opening Chadders wanted to open an In & Out and they couldn't get a franchise. So they opened Chadders but made it look just like an In and Out and they named all of the food on the menu the same things. In and Out won the law suit but all they won is that Chadders had to change the names of the food on the menu. (I ate there pre and post name change) So In and Out decided to open here and try to push Chadders out of business. I have confirmation that it is opening from someone working on the contruction crew building the building

Thought I would send a letter to IN-N-OUT Burger and here is their response:

Regarding your inquiry at the IN-N-OUT Burger? Web Site.

Thank you for your e-mail.  It's always nice to hear from our customers, and we appreciate your interest.

Although we are unable to confirm a site in American Fork, Utah at this time, we plan on expanding as far as we can, and particularly into areas in which our customers have expressed interest.  As such, we are happy to let our Real Estate Department know that you are anxious to have an In-N-Out Burger? location in your area!

Thank you again for contacting us.

Sincerely,

That's the place by University Mall right?  Where Fazoli's used to be? I can't remember what the name is either, but when it first opened I noticed it was almost exactly the same as In-N-Out!  I've never been there (the Orem place), so I don't know how similar the food is.  It's funny about the story though.

The place in Orem in called "Easy-Take out burger". It is pretty much the same thing as In and Out burger. I like them more than Chadders.
