Living in Orem and I'm looking for an HONEST mechanic.  Took my car to one place for a travel inspection because we were driving the car to California, spent $900 on various repairs, we we're told everything was good to go and the clutch completely went out on us on the way home, costing us over $1600 because we were stranded and parts had to be ordered.  TOTAL NIGHTMARE.  Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

We go to Doug's Auto Repair at the top of the Provo/Orem hill on the east side, behind Huish's.  Greg is our neighbor and he has always been completely honest and great with us!

Best mechanic by far is advanced automotive in Orem, he not only does all of our work, he actually does all the car work for a local newscaster and they did a big story on local car repair shops and he was the one the newscaster had check to see if they misdiagnosed or did anything weird to the car. He is a super nice guy and is VERY HONEST, and won't charge you for something you don't need!

Is it a foreign car? If so, Foreign Aid in Orem is great. My Brother in law works there.
