During the month of August Thanksgiving Point is doing $2 Tuesdays.  Admission is $2 per person per venue.  Good at Farm Country, Museum of Ancient Life or Thanksgiving Point Gardens.  This is a great deal especially for the Museum or Gardens.

Enjoy!

Well the baby didn't fall out but I tried.  I don't know if anyone went yesterday, but you should know.... there were a million people there!  It opens at 10 am, I got there at @10:20 and had to wait in a line around the side of the building! The line moved fairly quickly though. Once inside it wasn't too bad except for the erosion room and the dinosaur dig.  There were so many strollers you couldn't get through (Not even the unpregnant people  Wink .  All in all, the kids had lots of fun and it was worth it, just be prepared.  If you can avoid taking a stroller - I would.

I agree that yesterday was crazy.  We got there at 10:00 and had already planned to go to the gardens first.  Which was a good choice because we heard about the line at the museum.  The gardens were more crowded in certain areas than others but nothing to extreme.  So we had a lot of fun just enjoying the morning there.  Also the gate between both gardens was open so we got to see all of the gardens for only $2.00 that was a bonus.  We finished going through the gardens around 2:00 and went and ate lunch at the deli in the main area.  While finding a parking spot proved difficult at that time around that area it was not impossible.  We were able to get lunch pretty easily although I'm sure we missed the major lunch rush.  After that we went to the museum.  The line was still outside the building but only just outside the entrance.  The line moved fairly quickly.  The museum was still very crowded.  But my children still got to see everything they wanted.  We went through the whole museum and then went back to the erosion table and dinosaur dig later.  At 4:00 the erosion table was still crowded but there were spots and toys still available for my children to find.  The dinosaur dig area at 4:30 was still pretty hard to find spots but my children seemed to manage.  When we left at 5:00 the line in the building only had a handful of people so it seemed to be clearing out.  Although there were still lots of people in the museum itself.  I would defiantly do it again.  If you have the patience to deal with the crowd it was fine.  My children loved it and even though it was crazy we had a great day.
