I really need to get my carpets cleaned and have been considering using zerorez but they're a little expensive.  Has anyone else used them and are they worth the extra money? Or do you know of another company that'sreally good and reasonably priced? I'm willing to pay a little more if it's worth it.  I don't want to just go with the cheapest and get bad results. Any help or insight on the subject would be appreciated! Thanks! Smiley

I used Zerorez and they were good, except one spot on my carpet got dirtier rather than cleaner.  They came back 3 times to get it out and did a good job, except for that one area.  They were nice, but again, I did have an issue.

My relatives own Plush carpet cleaning, so I have to give a little plug for them.  Cheesy I feel like they do as good a job as any other professionals and have more reasonable rates. HTH

I am no exert in carpet cleaning, however i know that there are 2 different processes that carpet cleaners use and i have used 2 different cleaners that profess to use both processes-

1-the 1st company Absorb carpet cleaners, used a process that was very wet, looked great AT FIRST, then the spots came back. (cheaper)

2-the 2nd company ChemDry carpet cleaners, used a hot carbonation extraction, it was a much drier process, and it seemed the spots stayed gone- (they usually send you a $20 coupon for your next cleaning)

like i say i am not an expert, but there seems to be 2 possible ways to clean your carpets so i guess make sure you are comparing apples to apples when you are comparing price as well-

I have used Mike Nichols / Rainbow Carpet Cleaners in American Fork for over 10 years and I really like him. He always does a great job and I feel like he is reasonably priced. If I have to run somewhere while he is cleaning my carpets, I am not worried at all about him being in my house (I don't just let anybody in my house either). He is completely trustworthy. My carpets usually only take a few hours to dry.
My husband knew someone that worked at Zerorez so we decided to give them a try one time. We had them clean our rental property carpets, which were hammered, and I was really impressed but it was very expensive. I am a little obsessive about my carpets being clean, so I decided to have them come clean my carpets also. The guy they sent this time was done very quickly and my carpets did not even look like they had been cleaned. I was not happy and have gone back to using Rainbow Carpet Cleaning and that is probably who I will stick with.
