I NEVER met a sale I didn't like!

Here's what I'm doing:

I have used my coupons at various stores, some before the Smith's Catalina, and some at Smith's. I too got the last of the inventory on 2 separate occasions. (Only 3-6 on the shelf)

However, I will be waiting to use the Smith's catalina coupon for at least a month or more so that others can hopefully get some too. Maybe that's a good compromise?

Excellent Idea!  I happened to use a couple of my coupons before the catalina deal, so if I happen to come across some more at Smiths, I too will not use them for awhile.  Thanks Amy!

Do you know if it is just the Smiths in Utah doing the Catalina or all Smiths? I am going to Arizona this week and was wondering if I should take my coupons along with me just in case?

Smiths is a part of Kroger.  I would guess it works at most Kroger stores but YMMV (Your mileage may vary- it may be different for you at your store).  You can always try - they're free anyway with the MFR coupon Cheesy

As far as me not being "reasonable"...you don't know me...and I am  Cheesy.  Six bars of soap will NOT last me six months...maybe if I only bathed them once a week.

Once a week LOL.  Cheesy  Cheesy  You're right I don't know you...I wasn't trying to attack YOU personally, forgive me...I mean in general, I wish people would not swipe everything when they come across it.

I like Amy's solution on holding off using her catalinas since now people reading this forum are aware of us who haven't even had a chance to use 1 coupon yet.  I have also called a store to order some in.  These were both excellent ideas.

I had not been successful at finding the soap, but after reading all the posts on 'buddy bars' I went and asked my Smith's to special order mine in....it worked! Thanks for the great tip. The catalinas will be a wonderful addition to my 'first of the year' shopping. I'm waiting to use them (as suggested) so others can find the bars before the mfg. coupon expires next month.

So when you special ordered them, how many did you order?  I don't want to seem greedy or get too many.  Just wondering what anybody's thoughts were on this. Thanks

I had three coupons so I ordered nine. I didn't think that was greedy IF I wasnt taking them off the shelf, so others didn't have a chance, besides, I have lots of little grandbabies and this will be fun for them.
