You can call 225-6002 to pre-order if you like. It is while supplies last and should last @ 1 week (May be shorter depending on supply)

Just an FYI - Most associated food stores will be running this same price on Wed.  Cheesy

You should all be able to get some.  No. Orem has @ 3000 cases!  Smiley

Good quality this time!  I split the case with a friend and then cut up 10 pounds into chicken tenders and left the other 10 pounds as breasts - those were some HUGE chickens!

In case anyone in North Utah County is interested, I checked with the Macey's in Pleasant Grove and they will have this same deal available starting Wednesday the 22nd (I think Amy mentioned all Associated Food stores will starting Wed.), so if you don't want to drive all the way to Orem you can get some in PG, so a bit closer.  I asked about pre-ordering and they said they will have tons and expect the sale to last a week or so, so it probably wouldn't be necessary to pre-order.

A question though, does anyone know how often this sale comes around?  I'm trying to gauge how much I should buy.  I have a big freezer with lots of room, so I could buy a couple cases to stock up until next time, but I don't know if that is necessary.

Thanks!

I called the number to preorder and the gal on the phone said you can't preorder the chicken.  She said there is tons and you wouldn't need to preorder.  I don't think she knew what she was talking about.  I told her I was informed by a good source, that we could preorder.  She had no clue what was going on and said something like "well I guess maybe but we get more every morning."

Does anyone have any information more reliable than this?

Initially they allowed pre-orders but you don't need to now since they all should have tons!  Cheesy

I was able to get this same deal today at Kohlers in Lehi.  I asked them if they had the same deal on the chicken as Macey's (I thought maybe they would because I thought they were an Associated Food store).  The butcher at the meat counter told me that they don't run the same deals as Macey's and that they are competitors, but that they would match the price for me.  So, I got a 40lb case of untrimmed boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.19/lb, which was great for me since I leave in Eagle Mountain and appreciated not having to drive further than Lehi to get this.  I don't know how many cases you could get at this price, I just got the one, and they kind of acted like it was a price match thing.  Does anyone know more about this?

It was my understanding that all Associated Foods stores were going to run this deal. Maybe it's just Maceys. There was no limit on how many cases you can buy.

So then this deal wouldn't be available further north, like in West Jordan? Also, is this kind of 40 lb purchase a good one for me though I only have my husband and I to cook for? I do have an upright freezer I've never used yet but am willing to try.

Then again, maybe I've already missed the sale dates...

Cheesy I believe the sale goes through tomorrow 10/28.  If you use a lot of chicken, it would be a good deal.  You could even try to find someone to split it with.
