I get this email every week, this guy is great! Even though no one else is from Idaho, these deals still apply to you! You can sign up to be on his list!

chimchimney@msn.com

Hi,
This week some of the good deals are Idahoan Instant Mashed potatoes (Original Only) are right now 2/$1.00.  When you buy 4 you get a $1.00 off catalina coupon you can use in the same order that will make those 4/$1.00.  This is an excellent deal and great for food storage.  You can buy them for $6.00 per case.  I ordered in 100 cases for this deal.  I hope that is enough.  I don't know if there are any coupons out there, but if there are, feel free to use them also.
We have a General mills ad that is alright.  Bring in the coupons and stock up.  I don't have many coupons, but see what you can get for cereal and cake mixes, and fruit snacks.
We also have certain items that you can buy and receive $3.00 off candy or pizza.  This can be a great deal for Halloween.  We have some candy that is 3/$4.98 and we have $1.00 off coupons.  So if you buy the products for the $3.00 off free candy, you can get 3 bags of candy for .98 cents.  Look in the ad and search for the coupons.   I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Also, our store is in a little contest with everyone in the valley and we are trying to beat everyone.  This is a fund raiser for United Way.  If any of you would like to donate a little, ($1.00, $5.00, or $10.00),  come see me as I will be handing out the donation cards.  We only have 6 days left for this event and all the money raised stays here in town and helps those around us.  Thanks for all you do and for all your comments and help with things.

The Catalinas are not always accepted on a current order.  Most stores will not let you use them on the same transaction.

This is a good deal even when using the first catalina only on the next order.  I think that's polite,  the idea is you pass your last Catalina to a friend and keep the buying going.

Is this an unadvertised special? I don't see it on the Shopping Wizard.

I will be going to Albertsons tomorrow and will check if this Idahoan deal works in Utah.  I'll keep you posted.

Also! This week if you buy 4 boxes of Nabisco snack crackers for $10.00, you can get a free Kraft 8 oz. cheese.  Now the first 4 boxes that you buy it will print off a $4.00 off catalina coupon at the register that you can use on your next 4 boxes and it would make it 4/$6.00 plus the free cheese.

Thanks for the reminder about the Catalina. That makes it a great deal. It only goes through 10/17 so you only have a few days. I'm stocked up on Cheese Nips...now on to Wheat Thins! :-)

I went tonight to 16oo N and the Idahoan potatoes catalina did work. There is a hang tag on the shelf to announce it.
There is  also a $1 catalina that is printed I think for each 2 boxes of the Ghirardelli brownie mix.

I went to Albertsons this morning to do the Nabisco deal with the free cheese and found a $1 off coupon on a display for "buy one Nabisco cracker and one Kraft cheese" get $1 off. So even though the cheese was free, it still worked, so I got 4 boxes of Wheat Thins and an 8 oz Kraft cheese for $5 (after the $4 catalina and coupon). A great deal!

Ends tomorrow, 10/17.

I didn't find the Potatoes 2/$1. Is it a package or box? All I saw was packages for 2/$3 and boxes for $3.69 or something like that. It could be that they just aren't having it in WA, but I thought I would check to see if I am just missing something.
Thanks.

Do the Nabisco crackers all have to be same variety to get these savings? Could I get 2 Wheat Thins and 2 Cheese Nips and still have this deal work?

You can mix and match as long as they are included in the sale.  The ad states 6.5-10 oz select varieties.  The picture shows Wheat Thins and Triscut crackers.

I found them last night at 1600 N.  They are only the original flavor potato pouches. The rest are 2/$3.00.
