I'm not a candy buyer so I was wondering if the Walgreen's sale on the 4-bag of Mars bars was a good one?  Any thoughts? 

Does anyone think there will be a better price for Halloween candy before Friday?  I hate to wait until the last minute to get some.

Yes, the Walgreens price is a fantastic deal.?  Its the best deal so far this year that I can think of.?  There are 3 for $5 deals that come out to $1.17 a bag and that is still a great deal.?  I doubt they will get any less.

Besides rebates, the best deal this year has been the $1.17 a bag.  I always wait until the week of Halloween because Albertsons usually has a great sale, but I haven't heard anything yet.

Toys R US has their small bags (apx. 10-11 oz.) for 1/2 price, making it $1.49/bag.  They had the Mars brands, so with the coupon ($1.00/2V 10/12-7) its $1/bag, and no waiting for rebate!! I think that price is just through today, sorry I didn't find it earlier to post!

Albertsons is having a promotion for items, buy a certain amount of items and get free candy. There are three great deals there. 2 Hawaiian punch,2 graham crackers and 6 hot pockets.

Just got my Smith's ad, and on Thursday from 3-11 they are doing a sale.  One thing on sale is the Halloween candy for $1.88, for Snickers, Butterfinger, etc.  Not as good as the Walgreens deal a week or 2 ago, but it's a good deal for this week and you don't have to deal with rebates.  It'll probably go fast though.

The halloween candy is actually $1.67 at Smiths for the Oct. 30th only sale and when you buy $15 you get a $5 OYNSO catalina.  So after $1.00/3 coupons the final price is $0.78 when you buy 9 and use 3 coupons!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

oops, ya, it's 3/$5.  The $1.88 candy is at Rite-Aid.  I was getting my ads all mixed up.  Cool about the catalina.  I hope they have stuff in stock when I go.
