I was wondering about the Albertson's deals this week.  In the Smith's add it says limit 3 $5 deals per transaction.  I assume that you can get more if you come back another time?  But does Albertson's have a limit on their $15 catalina?  Can you get 2 if you spend $60 on participating products, and does the $30 count before or after coupons?  Thanks Smiley

I am no expert, but I am pretty sure you can only get one $15 Catalina per transaction. I assume you can get multiple if you do them in separate transactions. I read that as long as you hit the $30 before coupons, you will still get the Catalina. I am going tonight to try and will let you know if it doesn't work.

There is no limit BUT you have to do separate transactions for each $30 to get the $15 back. ?

It is before coupons so there are some KILLER deals!!!

What is the proper etiquette for getting the $15 Catalina more than once?  Do the cashiers seem to mind if you split up your purchase into multiple transactions so you can get more than one of the $15 Catalina's?  Or, is it considered more polite to do it on separate trips?  That seems like a waste of gas and time for me since I'm not super close to an Albertson's, but I wouldn't want to create a bad impression with a cashier by making more work for them.  Maybe if I went during a time of day when they aren't super busy...any suggestions?Huh?? Undecided

I just went and did 2 transactions and the checker didn't question at all.  When I apologized for taking so long, she said that many shoppers had been doing it and not to worry about it.  She even checked the Catalina paper before I checked out to make sure there was enough paper to print my Catalinas.  I am glad it was a good experience.

It is perfectly appropriate to do more than one transaction, but try to be courteous of others.  Here are some tips to help things go quickly and smoothly.

Make out your shopping list with quantities before you go to the store.

Take bags with you to the store and separate your transactions into separate bags (I love the reusable ones)

Have your coupons out and ready before you go to the check stand - have them separated by the transaction.

This might be an obvious question, but how do you know how many groups of $30 to divide your items into?  Is there a way to know beforehand how much each item will be and how to divide them?

I went last night and they needed a different preferred savings card per transaction. The computer would not print up the Catalina's otherwise.

This might be obvious as well, but for this promotion do you have to buy the amount of product specified (10 for $10, etc.) to get that price or not?

You do not need to stay with in the price points, you can mix and match.

Sorry to repeat but I am on my way out the door right now.

Is there a way to know how many groups of $30.00 you are going to need?  How do you know how much each item costs beforehand?  I would like to seperate them into groups but am not sure how to do so.
