Just curious adrianandjulee..in Vegas does the store get picked over like here in UT? I always wonder out of state. My Mom in Oregon can go to Rite-Aid on a Friday or Thursday and get anything of the sale items!! LUCKY!! So just curious for all of you out of state-ers what it's like...

I when Wed afternoon and got everything.  I went by last night and there was still plenty, except ckn broth, they had beef though... I'm impressed but Las Vegas also has the Highest rate of stores/to population...  plus we have vons, food for less, walmart  Neighborhood market, albis, smiths, luckys, fresh and easy, buy-low, and more.... but there are also not a lot of coupon shoppers here,

What does Tracy look like?  I am trying to remember if I have had her before.  There are a couple grumpy ones at Lehi that I always avoid!

Thank you for the tip about Tracy.  I shop at that store and will have to keep that in mind since I've encountered many grumpy ones at that store too.

Also, thank you for the info about using the catalinas on the next purchase too.  That's great!

I think I know who you're talking about. Everytime I go through his line he is excited about the money I save with coupons. He's really nice. He usually works late when I go. It's nice to have cashiers actually get more excited than you do when you use the coupons. Smiley I don't know why some have to make you feel like you're stealing from them....I don't think those people understand how coupons work and probably don't know the store gets reimbursed....even if they didn't, it's not like it'c coming out of THEIR check but some act like it does. I've used coupons my whole adult life and it doesn't bother me when they're "not nice".
Tracy is one of my favorite cashiers at the Lehi Albertson's, so I always go to her if she's working when I'm there.  I forgot to note the name of the checker that helped me yesterday, but he was great also.  He asked me how many transactions I wanted to do before he even started and then was prepared for the big stack of coupons I handed him.  Very pleasant.

My friend told me that the Provo University Albertson's restocks on Saturday, so I went again this morning.  They were still out of the shampoo/conditioner, but they had more chicken broth, Lipton sides, and cereal.  Maybe they hadn't gotten to all of the items yet, but I still got some more things that I had missed the other day.

Here is a 'shout out' for the Albertsons in AF. I was there this morning. My cashier was a saint! I hadn't tried the 'buy so much get so much back gimick' until today. I had a friend that gave me her coupons and her * shopping list as she was going out of town. It was wonderful to pick and choose the things she needed and compare to the things I wanted to get and see the savings. The only thing they were totally out of was Vaseline Intensive Care hand/body lotion, which would have been free with the sale. I asked several questions of several different employees and each was pleasant and helpful. Their store manager, Justin, was very accomodating, and my cashier was a saint. She could tell I was rattled and she even closed the line behind me and helped me take my groceries out of the cart in $30.00 increments, ringing up each transaction separately. When I consider the last $15.00 catalina OYNO that I brought home I invested $25.00 today and got $150.00 worth of merchandise. It took a couple of hours, but who cares, I'm new to this and I'm in the learning curve! Way to go AF Albertsons! You served above and beyond the call of duty~~~~

I just went to Albertsons today and spent $50 on over $200 worth of groceries, and I still have $15 in vouchers, so I technically spent $35! I did four groups of $30. The easiest thing for me was to group things by the prices. It made it easier to group the buy 12, buy 18, (etc.) all together. Since some things are out, plan on having to reassemble your grouping, so I used the dollar items as my filler. I ended up buying 5 cake mixes, just to get things to workout, but it's a lot easier to add that than figure out adding $1.67 when you're at the register. Good luck! You'll be so excited when you're done!
