I was told in a Savvy Shopper class that I should be able to use the Rozoni Smart Taste coupon on any Rozoni product because the "trademark" is marked before the "Smart Taste". When I went to use the coupon at Walmart it wouldn't work unless I bought a Smart Taste product. Was I told incorrectly? How does the whole "trademark" thing work on coupons as far as what products I can use it on?

Thanks for any input Cheesy

From what I understand you have to use the coupon for what is printed on the coupon. If there is a picture of a certain product on the coupon, but printed on the coupon is something else that is what they go by. So for instance if you have a coupon with a picture of Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta on it but the coupon says "save $1.00 off any Ronzoni Pasta" Then you can use if for any Ronzoni pasta. But if the text says "Save $1.00 off of any Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta" then that is what you have to use the coupon for.

Who told you that?  What class? Please PM me with your information.  No one should be teaching classes in my name, but me! This has been happening around UT.  If you don't see a 6 ft tall curly red-head up at the front - it's not a true Savvy Shopper Class!

You have to use the coupon on the product specified - not the brand name!
