This has probably been answered, but I searched and couldn't find anything.  Can a coupon that says "manufactures coupon" on the top be redeemed at ANY store?  What if it is a manufactures coupon that says redeemable only at Smiths or target etc.  Is this just the store trying to make sure you use it at their store or is it truly limited to their store?  Like the Rite Aid coupons all say manufactures coupons but only redeemable at rite Aid.  Anyone with more coupon knowledge than me out there please help!

Thanks! Smiley

If they say "manufacturer coupon" you can pretty much use them anywhere and you can use them WITH a store coupon. Some store coupons (like Rite Aid's) will say manufacturer coupons but they ARE store coupons. If you look at the bar code on the coupon I think it says RA before the numbers. That means it is a Rite Aid coupons. I think it's the same with Walgreens but I'm not sure.

When you get coupons that print out at the register that says "manufacture coupon" and it says "redeem at Smiths", you can usually use them anywhere because they're not a Smith's coupons. Yes, I think they put their name on it so you think you have to use it at their store but you don't.

HTH (hope this helps)

Yes that's true, UNLESS it says a store name on it ie.. Smiths.  While it is a mfr. cpn.  another store CAN and often will refuse it.  That's why I don't tell you to use these at other stores, as they may or may not be accepted.
