Just an update.  The CF cards work fine, Ritzcamera is having problem with the website and the email confirmaiton says you ordered 2GB instead of 4GB I got on the live chat and was told I would get 2GB not 4Gb, so I canceled the order.

That's too bad.  My husband and I always print the confirmation page when making a purchase-even when it says it will email you a receipt.  We did so with this order, so we weren't too worried about getting the wrong product when our email also listed 2GB SD card instead of 4GB. We just got notice today that the correct product has indeed shipped.  Horray!!!  Three free 4GB SD Cards!!!  Thanks so much for the post!

We ordered 2 sets and our confirmation email was correct. Yeah! I have been watching the ads for a few weeks waiting for a good deal on these. I'm shooting some of my pictures in raw format so I needed some larger cards and you can't beat FREE!

THANKS!!!

I don't blame you for being confused.  It got pretty sticky.  Initally the deal was through ritz camera.  Their website had linked the wrong codes and so the order confirmation and the emial confirmation were different.  Initally, they were unsure of how to fix  it and were not making any promises.  They did get it fixed later that day, thus people were getting both confirmations stating the same product was ordered.  That offer is now over, however as of last night, you could still get them through this link:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000OFWJO6

With this link, it works a little bit differently than the ritz camera link.  You will have to order separate cards.  I will also inlcude the link to the rebate form, but if you order 1 card at 19.95, you will get 10.00 back, 2 cards for 39.90 you will get 30.00 back, and 3 cards for 59.85, you will get 60.00 back.  Ordering 3 cards is the only way to make them free.  You can submit up to 3 cards per rebate form and up to 3 forms per household.  You will have to pay shipping from this site. The rebate form will ask you the retailer.  It is Adorama.  They have their checkout through Amazon.

Good Luck

I was going to try to get this through the Amazon link, but I noticed that the seller was listed as J&R Music & Computer World.  Does it show Adorama somewhere else?  It sounds like such a great deal, but I'm just leery of buying $60 worth of memory cards and not being able to qualify for the rebate.  Does anyone know more about this?

Thanks!

You can get the Compact Flashes here: http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SDCFX3-004G-A31-4GB-Extreme-Card/dp/B0013DIIPC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=miscellaneous&qid=1228203742&sr=8-1

And it looks like the SDHC cards are being sold by  J&R Music and Computer World  which is NOT listed on the rebate. Sad If you need this type of card for your camera, try looking at these retailers on line...

Here's the link to the Rebate: http://a1672.g.akamai.net/7/1672/116/20081101/www.ritzcamera.com/graphics/ritzcamera/general/rebates/sandisk_q4_buyupto3_rebate_10-12_08_01-17_09.pdf

Make sure that you order the correct product number that is listed on the rebate and if you get them through Amazon.com (ours are being shipped from Adorama) that some are listed in "bulk" which means you will not get the packaging and therefore you won't get a UPC. If I remember correctly, when ordering mine, the "bulk" cards didn't have the correct product number anyway but just remember not to get those. Smiley

The rebate is good until 1/17/09, maybe they will become available again.

Someone said: "The rebate is good until 1/17/09, maybe they will become available again."

So, does that mean I can put in an order, up until 1/17/09, and get the rebate.  Or, does "maybe they will become available again" mean that they are all out of stock and the rebate is over?

TIA.

Bummer!!  Angry  I'm pretty sure that when I looked at it, it said that it was through Adorama.  Now when I look at my order it is from J&R Music.  Maybe they'll let me return it?

It DID used to say ADORAMA.  My guess is that they sold out of that product and now the link brings up the next cheapest seller.

Here's some more info (a link to the actual rebate is posted on the earlier posts).

Offer valid only for purchases made between October 12, 2008 and January 17, 2009 in the U.S. from one of the participating retailers listed on this form.
TO RECEIVE YOUR SANDISK VISA PREPAID CARD(S), PLEASE SEND:
1. This completed form, postmarked by February 14, 2009 So if you purchase it by Jan. 17 and mail the rebate in by Valentine's day you'll be fine. Smiley
2. The original UPC bar code, cut from the retail package
3. Your sales receipt (the original or a copy) or a copy of an email or online order
confirmation that includes a purchase date, showing purchase of an eligible SanDisk product

Redemption values for multiple cards are only applicable if multiple quantities (up to three per claim) of the exact same card are purchased. Redemption of mixed card purchases will be processed at single unit values.

It DID used to say ADORAMA.  My guess is that they sold out of that product and now the link brings up the next cheapest seller.

That's probably what happened. Ours said Adorama when we purchased ours.
