If you have more than one set of coupons each week, make sure that you stack like pages together.  I get five sets each week, separate them and stack the identical pages together, then cut all five pages at the same time.  Does that make sense?  Maybe you are already doing this, but I know when I do it this way it takes me about 30-45 minutes each week to cut and file them all.  Make sure your scissors are full-size, not a childrens size.  That also makes a difference in time.

Also, I have seen a new cutting tool made by 3M (I think), that is for cutting wrapping paper.  I saw them packaged with a roll of Scotch tape at Riteaid.  That might make it faster, not sure. HTH!

I was WAYYYYY behind in clipping my coupons (try 4 months worth!!)  It took me longer to pull all of the ads out of the newspapers than it did to "clip" them last night for the big shop this morning!!!

My method?.....I have an island in my kitchen with a straight edge on the side and I just line up the sheet on the edge of my island and tear them.  I tore 4 months of ads in an an hour and a half!!!  My 11 year old daughter thought she could cut multiple layers faster than I could tear single sheets (you can tear up to three sheets at a time if you are careful, I don't, but you can).  I beat her hands down over and over again. 

I too did the box method and have changed to the binder method...today was my first BIG shop with the Binder and I'M in LOVE!!! It was SOOO much faster and easier to find them, and now I can quickly pull them when they expire!  It's a lot less intimidating and doesn't feel like drudgery!

for christmas, i'm getting myself the binder and coupon cutter from the organization place.  has anyone used it yet? i've searched and searched at wm for baseball cardholders and never found any so i opted for the ones at target. i need more, so where and which walmart did you find the card holders at? what price was your binder? TIA

i've been using the binder method as well and love it.

I could never find any at the Walmart in AF and I tried a couple of times.  I found them the first time I looked at the one in Lindon.  And they are SUPER CHEAP!!!!

The binder was about $13 but I had a bunch of $3 off for turning in ink cartridges plus a rewards check so I paid about $4 for the binder - if you haven't started yet, I would wait until the Herald gets them in - I think they will be a good deal.

I found the baseball card holders at the AF Walmart in the front by the trading cards, but that was over a month ago.

I found the other dividers at Office Depot in Orem.
