Another GREAT idea to do it by aisle!  It is a very versitile method and can be adapted in so many ways to the way each individual thinks!  The binder has been so much fun to do after doing the box for 2 years - if anyone is interested, I have a box to give (REAL cheap!) so PM me!

I'm looking forward to trying this method. I went to ShopKo in Provo today to get a zipper binder and they are on clearance! It only cost me $2 instead of $15! They only had a few left though, so hurry over!

You will find that although you have to cut all your coupons it will pay off when you are out shopping.  I can't tell you how many times I remembered I needed something, had my binder and was able to use a coupon!

I went to Shopko tonight, and I think I may have gotten the last binder--the section was pretty much gone.  Thanks irobi!  I am so excited to finally get organized!

By the way it is working well for me as far as organizing goes.  What a great system.

I had the dual ring system and the front ring kept opening and so I returned it to Staples and am very pleased with the one ring system.  Good luck!

I bought two of the $2 Mead 5 Star 3 ring binders at the Orem Shopko this morning.  They were not marked clearance, but were only $1.99.  There were a couple left at the Orem Shopko in the School and Office aisle.  There were not any more on the end cap.  They were middle of the aisle on the bottom shelf.  I had great timing because a lady with a price gun was walking by and so I made sure I had the right price before I went to the front to pay.

If anyone wants to buy one of the binders I bought, just let me know.  I live in North Orem.

I can't wait to have one. I bought one that is nothing close to what amy is preparing, because I was waiting for this. I knew it was going to happen someday. How much is it going to be?

Done coupons for years. Didn't like the look of the binder method - I was stubborn to try. Now I love it! I took it one step further and added resturants/entertainment, automotive, clothing/bookstore, and decorating/craft. I put all the roberts and micheals coupons or Interior Elements ets... in their own categories and they are all where I need them! Its Great  glasses12

REMEMBER:  The best thing about this organization method is that you can tailor it to fit your own needs.  If you want more or less categories/dividers it's up to you.  Make it work for your needs!

JUST GOT MY BINDER!!!

Can I just say - I HATE THE BOX!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU AMY!!!

I never realized how awful the box was until I tried your binder method.  I can pull out all my expired coupons so fast and I will never "lose" a coupon in the depths of 160 categories again!

I believe we have sold all the binders - if not we only have a VERY few left.  I'll check and let you know.

About the boxes -  As you know I love the binder method and have been using it for many years!  I had someone tell me at my last class that they gave up on couponing because of the box.  She wanted to know why the Daily Herald had initially given out the coupon boxes. (First I told her I had nothing to do with it)  Wink Here's the thing, I think the boxes were initially a great tool.  Some are still convinced of this and say they will never change (We'll get 'em yet!  Evil ) But just like anything else, we progress, learn and find new solutions for our every day problems, thus the binder.  Someday there may be an even better way to organize your coupons - (Like someone doing it for you  Wink )  If you love the binder, box, envelopes in your purse, or not cutting them at all - DO WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!  That may change as you become a more experienced couponer or not.  I say, as long as you are organizing them in someway it is a great start!
