Stock up only on things you need PDF Print E-mail

When you first start receiving my twice-weekly Deals e-mail, one of the big temptations is to overbuy. My e-mails are usually 10 pages long and full of great deals. It will take a little discipline to not buy something just because it is cheap or free. One thing to remember -- it is not a good deal if you will not use the item.

For instance, I used to buy Totino's Pizza Rolls for 50 cents a box. While this might be a good deal for some, it no longer is for me. In the first place, my family is trying to not eat as much processed foods, and, in the second, my kids do not like them. Freezer space is a commodity at my house and I need to save it for usable items.

Now, that should not discourage you from trying new things. After all, coupons are issued to entice you to buy new products. However, before you stock up on something, make sure it will be something you and your family will use and enjoy.
