We have done a Blockbuster gift card and microwave popcorn for the teachers for years now.  They always seem to like it.

And our current neighborhood has always done some type of service project to replace neighbor gifts.

I'm using this one this year with the $0.50 (after coupons) Lindt Candy Bars!  Thanks!

Oh my Gosh!  I have been racking my brain for weeks trying to remember what I did last year for neighbor gifts, I could not remember for the life of me.  I even have a bin that I put extras in after Christmas it has mugs, candles, cookie jars whatever I have done and I know none of that I did last year!  DUH!!!  I did the big Candy bars of course there are no leftovers.

Does anyone know where I could find inexpensive cookie cutters? I bought gingerbread cookie mix on the Albie's sale, and want to tie it with a ribbon and cookie cutter. TIA

I am looking for some cute and inexpensive gifts for my kids teacher.  Anyone have any ideas?  I once did some little buckets full of Hershey kisses with a little note attached saying something about a bucket of kisses (it was a cute little note/poem).  Those would be really cheap right now with Walgreen's Hershey sale.  TIA

I found a quote online the other day about teacher gifts and there was one that said "Teachers can not live on apples alone...they need a few hugs and kisses". The attach it to a bag or jar of Herseys Kisses and the Hugs.

Personally, I usually make a blockbuster basket.

1 Blockbuster Popcorn Bucket

Fill with lots of Theatre size treats, Cookies, Candy I buy on sale  Wink and a Blockbuster Gift Card. Wrap with clear cellophane and tie with a bow.

The card reads:  "I hope you have a "Blockbuster" holiday with your family.

It's different than the candles, lotions etc.. that teachers always get and they really seem to appreciate it!

I do this every year for my kids' teachers, and some family and friends. I get the double rewards from my Discover Card and use it on Hollywood Video coupons (I can't tell you the last time I had to "pay" for a video rental - - unless it was late Smiley).
I don't ever put a saying with it....can't use the "Blockbuster" one if it's a Hollywood Video free rental coupon. Any suggestions?
