        If you find a great deal - please verify it with the original source before you post it to make sure it is accurate.  Posts should always be written in your own words and never copied or linked from another good deal website.  This also applies to sharing SavvyShopperDeals.com finds with other good deal websites.

        If you do not want to receive emails at your personal email address you can hide your email address from public view.(click on Profile and then Account Related Settings) I recommend not showing your email to the public - for security reasons.

       If you have an issue with a post, please PM (private message) the Original Poster to resolve your issues in a courteous way. 

       Chatting is encouraged, but gossiping and flaming (posting insults about other sites, members or other individuals) will not be tolerated.  Savvy Shoppers have class!   

       If you receive an EMAIL or PM (private message) from ANYONE who is rude or threatening let me know immediately!!!  I will ban them from using this forum and forward the message to our legal department.  This will not be allowed.

QUESTION:
Was just looking at recent posts and saw the one you put up about etiquette and not copying other's work.  What exactly do you mean?  Like work others have done to find deals from other sites? 


ANSWER:
Yes.  If you find a good deal on another site, you shouldn't copy it word for word - unless you have permission to do so and you give the site credit (It's kind of like plagiarism).  You can share the information, in your own words, once you yourself have verified it to be accurate.  Same for copying our lists and posting them elsewhere.  Does that make sense?
