FYI - I hear rumor that price-matching at Walmart is causing Buy Low tons of grief (As some stores adjust prices as soon as their ad comes out).  As a result they will be pulling their ad out of the Herald so it won't be as easy to price match.  Unfortunately, that means I will no longer be doing their ad as of Sunday 9/27.

(I guess the Orem Walmart has been adjusting their prices to compete with Buy Low as soon as their ad comes out on Monday.)

If you shop at Buy Low make sure you tell them how disappointed you are that it's not in the Savvy Shopper Emails or the Daily Herald anymore and they should put it back in

Post here to leave your comments for Buy Low as well!

If you're not in their market - you WON'T get them anymore. Otherwise by mail - and we all know how reliable that one was.

I bet they change their minds.  I want to see the ads first BEFORE I head to the store.  Hope enough people feel that way that they will soon have it back in the Daily Herald.

Remember you can see their ads at www.buylowmarket-utah.com under their 'weekly specials' section.

I hate looking at it online!  For some reason I always miss stuff when I can't have the actual ad right in front of me. I like Amy's list because it has everything ranked.  I loved how easy it was.   Cry

AHHHHH! I just moved from provo to spanish fork and I rely 100% on getting the buylow info from the savvy shopper site and through the paper! There is no way that I am going to drive all the way to the store just to find that there is nothing there I need. I guess I wont be shopping there anymore  Angry. Unless it goes back on the shopping wizard.....

I also hate looking at the ad online! It is not the same, I always miss all the good stuff. I hope they change their minds...

I guess most of us grew up without learning to read on a computer. We learned to read hardcopy/books, and then later on the computer...Until such time as BuyLow changes it's mind, you can print out a copy of the BuyLow Ad so you can see it hard copy - then be sure to take your copy with you AND say something to the manager whenever you go to the store (and remember to get a magnifying glass so that you can read your .pdf printout of the ad! Wink LOL)

Angry WOW! What can I say, and we were always taught that competition was a good thing, geez...
Anyhow, unfortunately this is the action that the store will enact upon. Many thanks to Amy for your
efforts and awesome information. Please continue to post your comments here (tell everyone) and I will
print them and make sure that they are reaching the right plate. Thanks for the comments and suggestions
and hopefully this will be only short term and they will come to realize how savvy this site really is. And
make sure if you get a chance to stop by personally or at least post your concerns, let us know how our
inconsistency is a real drag and how it is effecting you and your shopping preferences. Hope to see you
all soon, happy shopping to all. Go Daily Herald!!

...because Walmart won't drive up the hill, grab the ad, and then adjust thier prices anyway? I bet they change their minds because I rarely go to a store if I haven't see their ad. I know a lot of moms who are the same way.

Wow, I hate to see Walmart as the end-all be-all of the grocery business.  I'm afraid to say, without a print ad and/or their great deals on the shopping wizard, people will just eventually forget about shopping at Buy Low!  IT may save some money in the beginning to not put out a print ad, and the effect may not be immediate, but I know for me, I just won't shop there on a regular basis.  One of the advantages to a great site like this, is access to all the great deals at all the stores I shop at, in one place.

I am really disappointed to see BuyLow make this decision. Hopefully they will learn after this week that it really does pay to have their ad in the Daily Herald. Amy does a great job getting their info out. I guess time will tell...
