Yes it's working at Albies.  I just got back with my $5 catalina and $20 rebate form that printed out, and I only spent $5.51 after coupons and other catalinas I had!!!!

Hey, Everyone!  Remember that you can always ask nicely for a REBATE RECEIPT (or another copy of your receipt).  That way you do not have to give up your only receipt.  You can ask for several if needed.  Cheesy

It worked for me as well!  And I also found some additional coupons in the store that can be used with the sale.  All of the coupons were found in the back corner of the store at the AF Albertsons were they stock the sale items.  They had Nabisco coupon booklets for $55 of savings throughout the school year.  The 2 coupons inside for the month of August were $1 off any two boxes of Nabisco snack crackers, and $1 off 2 packages of Planters Trail Mix.  I also found tear pads for the following coupons:  save $1 on beef when you buy one A.1. Steak Sauce or Marinade 10 oz or larger, FREE up to $1 produce when you buy one Kraft Mayo 18 oz or larger, and Save $.55 when you buy any three packages of JELL-O Gelatin.

I tried that once and it said on the receipt that it was a duplicate or something like that.  The rebates usually specify original receipt.

Yes, it usually says on the top line that it is a duplicate receipt, but the rest of it is the same...so I clip off the top line.  Then all of it was exactly the same.  Thus it was usable as an original.

Most stores have no problem giving you these receipts - even Staples usually automatically gives you one when they know you have a rebate you will be mailing in for later.

Hope this helps.

That's good to know about the duplicate receipt, even if you keep the duplicate.  I love keeping my huge savings receipts....like trophies.

Also, wanted to add this about the Kraft rebate.  There is a Heineken mail in rebate out there (picked mine up at Smiths in PG & yesterday they still had 2 full stacks at customer service) that when you buy $25 in gourmet frozen pizza you get $20 back (or $10 back for buying $15).  No beer required because we live in UT.  So I did 2 transactions today at Albies.  One for the kraft rebate & another for the pizza rebate.  I wanted 2 transactions so I could have 2 receipts for the separate rebates.  Since Kraft has CA pizza Kitchen & DiGiornio included in the rebate going on now I was able to get a $5 catalina back for spending $25 in pizza.  So free gourmet pizza after the MIR!

Albertsons went as far today as when my rebate printed they handed me a envelope that was already addressed for this specific rebate.  I love that!  I know I am a nerd. Smiley

There have also been issues with the items on the Albertsons sales flier not actually being on the approved list put out by Kraft.  Make sure what you are buying is part of the official Kraft list.

You can get a copy of the list here:
http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/products/supervaluPromotion.aspx

Also make sure the sizes match the list.

I noticed on some of the blogs that I watch that Albertsons is advertising some items that aren't on the actual Kraft rebate list.  Today I followed the list, but since I wanted to get some free cool whip, I got the boxed jello pudding instead of something on the list.  I hope it works, since I already sent my receipt and rebate form in.  Here is the link to the printable list that Kraft has on its website.

My understanding is that the rebate form will NOT print out unless you get the right items.  If the rebate form prints out for you, you got the right items.

I went to the Albertsons in Orem last night and bought several things listed in the ad and it printed out  just fine.

They even had plenty of coupons up front for several items. If everyone just takes what they need it should make a great sale for everyone Smiley

I was just noticing this as well.  There are a few things included in the Albertsons ad, but that are not available on the rebate form.  The things I noticed right away:
A-1 Steak Sauce
Jell-o Pudding in the boxes
General Foods International Coffee
Velveeta
Is Grated Parmesan Cheese considered Natural Shredded or Chunk Cheese?

Anyway, that is all I see right away.  Do you think this will matter for the rebate?

I read this on another site just now.

I spoke with my contact at Albertson's and she gave me more information regarding the Kraft Promo:

Here is the correct address you need to mail the rebate form & receipt to:

Kraft Foods-SuperValu Back-to-School MIR Offer #511-5
P.O. Box 753854
El Paso, TX 88575-3854
If you already mailed in your rebate, the Rebate center in Ohio has been instructed to send them back to the Return address, which is Albertson's corporate in Idaho. They will then forward them along to the Texas address. Please feel free to call 1-877-932-7948 with any concerns.

There are over 1,900 UPC codes that supposedly trigger the $5 catalina & rebate form, however with as many people as we've seen NOT have the forms print, I'm just not sure they're all working! If your $5 coupon or rebate offer does not print, instead of calling Catalina marketing, please call Albertson's at 1-877-932-7948. They want to be kept informed of any issues shoppers are having. They will help you get the $5 coupon and proper rebate form.

She explained to me how this was (hopefully) going to work, and quite honestly, it's a mess. All rebate requests WILL be honored, even if you purchased some of the items not listed on the Kraft Shopping list here. However, it's not clear yet how that will all work and how long it will take. I highly recommend keeping copies of everything you submit and if 6-8 weeks goes by and you still haven't seen anything, call 1-877-932-7948 to at least make Albertson's aware that you haven't received your rebate.

Keeping all this in mind here are my suggestions:

Shop off the Kraft list. I know, there are less products, but I feel that with all the issues this promo is already having, I want to make my rebate as simple as possible to process.
Make copies of everything before mailing it in. (This really should be done anytime you submit a rebate!)
In those records, make note of the day you mailed it in. Also, mark on a calendar what date you should receive your rebate by.
Keep this Albertson's number 1-877-932-7948 in your records so you can easily access it should you receive a rejection letter for your rebate.
