Make the Battery Deal even sweeter:  If you go to Smith's Marketplace, there is a 10% off coupon in the Marketplace ad.  It expires today (Wednesday, so hurry if you want to use it). The cashier will have to take off 10% each time a battery package is scanned.  I just realized that I forgot to scan my Smith's Card, so maybe even a better deal with your card (?).  Anyway there were coupons hanging by the Duracell batteries that were for 1.99 per package (ad is 1.88 with card).  This is what I did.  Purchase 6 packs of batteries--3.99 each, 10% coupon = minus .40.  Then the battery coupon found at Smith's:  -2.00 per packge. So right there we have each package at $1.59.  Then the PG coupons:  -.75.  Pay 5.04 plus tax and get $5.00 catalina.  I don't know how the combination of Smith's Card and the 10% coupon would work. If they take 10% off the card price for the batteries: It would be 1.88 - .19 = 1.69; 1.69-.75=.94

Sorry for all the math.  I got 6 packages of batteries for .04 + tax after taking into account catalina.

I went to Smith's to get the battery deal and no catalina printed.  Unfortunately I didn't realize it until I was unpacking my groceries at home.  Do I need to take the batteries back and RE-buy them to get my catalina?

I just bought 6 packs of batteries at Smiths and the Catalina did not print. My cashier thought maybe her machine wasn't working, so she had someone else try to ring them up for me.  That time it worked, and I got a $5 off Catalina when I was only expecting $2 Smiley

The Orowheat bread isn't really on sale. It was a misprint - at least that is what the sign at the Provo Smiths said.
